Patron Tequila announces its first prestige expression - the Patron El Alto.

The El Alto is a blended batch mix of Reposado, Anejo, and Extra Anejo Patron tequilas, aged in 11 different types of barrels, to create an expression that features "sweet-tinted mix of vanilla, caramel and fruit".

The heart of the El Alto remains the Extra Anejo minimally 3 year aged tequilas, with the 11 different barrels including hybrid barrels such as American oak staves with French oak heads.

The new expression retails for US$179 and will first launch in New York, Miami, Las Vegas and Los Angeles.
