Legendary winery Casa Ferreirinha will soon be bringing in the full breadth of its portfolio in Singapore, available through an exclusive partnership with Singapore's Malt & Wine Asia. 

With a heritage spanning over 250 years, and started by Dona Antónia Ferreira and Fernando Nicolau de Almeida, Casa Ferreirinha is a historic leader of Douro still wines, credited with pioneering the Douro Valley’s first premium dry red wines, and has been the benchmark for Portuguese winemaking excellence since the mid-20th century. 

Malt & Wine Asia will introduce a curated selection of seven labels from the house, showcasing the diversity of the Douro's terroir and the expertise of Chief Winemaker Luís Sottomayor:

• Vinha Grande White: Sourced from high-altitude vineyards, this is a textured, complex white with vibrant acidity and subtle oak integration.
  
  
• Vinha Grande Red: A classic Douro reference since 1960, known for its structure, deep fruit profile, and elegant tannins.
• Callabriga: A modern, intense red from the Douro Superior that offers a bold profile of dark fruits, cocoa, and spice.
  
  
• Castas Escondidas: Translating to "Hidden Varieties," this unique blend utilizes lesser-known indigenous grapes to showcase the region’s incredible biodiversity.
  
  
• Quinta de Leda: An estate-grown wine of immense elegance and complexity, frequently serving as the backbone for the winery’s top-tier releases.
  
  
• Reserva Especial: Produced only in exceptional years when the fruit does not quite reach the "legendary" status of Barca Velha, but still surpasses the standard for Quinta de Leda.
  
  
• Barca Velha: The pinnacle and the undisputed “King” of Portuguese wines. Released only in the most extraordinary vintages (only 21 times in 74 years), it is a powerhouse of depth and longevity.
