Martinique's esteemed Saint James estate is finally completing its hit cask strength Les Ephemeres collection with the fourth and final expression, No. 5.

The Les Ephemeres collection pays tribute to the great Martinique rum house with four expressions N°1, N°7, N°6, N°5, forming the emblematic date 1765 which marks the founding year of the historic Saint James estate.

The Saint James Les Ephemeres No. 5 expression features a 2005 vintage cask strength 16 year old rhum agricole, aged in a 320 liter French Oak barrel.

Aroma

Fragrances of sandalwood carried by a very elegant woody note. The attack of candied fruits gradually opens up towards warm, gourmet notes (cocoa and mocha)

Taste

A controlled degree which allows the flavors to express themselves with finesse. A markedly rich mouthfeel which offers exceptional length.

The new expression is bottled at 51.8% ABV and is priced at EUR125 or US$132, with a total of 5,006 bottles released.
