"Single Malt Komagatake IPA Cask Finish" is a single malt whiskey finished in an empty barrel with India Pale Ale (IPA), a medium-dark beer brewed at Minami Shinshu Beer Komagatake Brewery using plenty of hops . It has a refreshing citrus-derived scent derived from hops, a clear taste like grapefruit and herbs, and a crisp bitter finish, making it an excellent match with highball.

The Japanese single malt is meets the standards of the JSLMA for being labelled as Japanese whisky, and was matured in a Bourbon barrel followed by a finishing in Mars' own ex-Minami Shinshu Komagatake IPA beer barrels, with a total outturn of 2,700 bottles, bottled at 52% ABV.

The whisky is sold via lottery here, which closes at 10:00 AM Tokyo Time on 27 July, 2022, for an RRP of 9,460 JPY or 70 USD.
