The ever exciting Archie Rose Distillery out in Sydney, Australia, just did something pretty special - they've now launched a trio of 100 per cent Australian spirits, which was created to serve as the base for any drink!

The new series is titled Fundamental Spirits and consists of three spirits - the True Cut Vodka, Straight Dry Gin, and a Double Malt Whisky, which will be debuted in 2023.

What's exciting here is that the trio is completely created using and featuring "local, native and sustainably sourced" ingredients.

Despite already boasting a full suite of award winning and highly delicious spirits, the Sydney-based distillery is trying to make a broader push into those who may not be fully sold just yet on drinking their spirits neat. Hence the trio are designed to provide a reliably delicious base for use in creating any drink.

True Cut Vodka

Unlike the existing Native Botanical Vodka, the True Cut was designed to offer a more neutral and versatile palate. It is cold distilled using Australian wheat, local botanicals, and triple filtered water.

Straight Dry Gin

The Straight Dry Gin is cold distilled with an array of native and reclaimed Australian botanicals, such as lemon myrtle, orange peel and pink peppercorn, which is a departure from the distillery's gins to date.

Double Malt Whisky

The Double Malt Whisky combines a solera of Archie Rose's highly popular Single Malt and Rye Malt whisky, which features NSW heritage rye and barley malts, which were matured in ex-apera (sherry), bourbon and virgin oak casks.

The trio of Australian spirits comes on the back of the distillery's expansion with their new facility in Botany, Sydney. The True Cut Vodka and Straight Dry Gin is currently available, while the Double Malt Whisky will hit shelves in 2023.
