Built in the historic Tanglin district of Singapore, Tanglin Gin is a gin distillery boasting an impressive collection of international awards. 

This week, Tanglin Gin announces the launch of their Limited Edition Tropical Gin. This special release, limited to 1,000 uniquely labelled and numbered bottles is timed perfectly to coincide with the 2024 Grand Prix Season Singapore (GPSS). The launch is supported by the Singapore Tourism Board and looks to capture the excitement and prestige of the GPSS, providing a fitting backdrop for the unveiling of this exclusive gin.

The Tanglin Limited Edition Tropical Gin embodies the city state's fusion of both tradition and innovation. The gin is distilled with an array of tropical botanicals, including mango, pineapple, orange, lime, grapefruit, and a subtle touch of lemon balm. Bottled at 42% ABV in a sleek 500ml bottle, it encapsulates the vibrant essence of Singapore with its refreshing tropical profile.

During the GPSS festivities, this special edition gin will be available at both the Tanglin Gin Distillery and The Gin Jungle bar. Each bottle is individually numbered.

Nose:

Tropical fruit punch greets you on the nose. Juicy pineapple and sweet mango take centre stage, supported by a zesty medley of orange and lime.

Palate:

The initial sip bursts with tropical flavours, where the rich, tropical sweetness of mango and pineapple is harmonized by the bright citrusy notes of citrus fruit. Lemon balm provides a gentle, herbal undertone that rounds out the experience.

Finish:

The finish is long and refreshing, with the citrus elements lingering pleasantly on the palate. A delicate sweetness from the mango and pineapple persists, leaving a clean and invigorating aftertaste.

The Tanglin Limited Edition Tropical Gin will officially go on sale on 12 September 2024, at 12 PM SGT. It will be available for purchase at the Tanglin Gin Distillery, Tanglin Gin’s official website, and Lotte Duty-Free stores at Changi Airport. Online purchases are limited to two bottles per person per transaction.

Enhanced Tanglin Gin Distillery Experience

In addition to the gin launch, Tanglin Gin Distillery is offering enhanced distillery tours in collaboration with Gallery-26, located just a stone's throw away. These tours provide a unique opportunity to delve into the art of gin-making and witness the creation of award-winning spirits, including the new Tropical Gin. Guests will also have the chance to interact with real-life F1 artefacts and décor, adding an extra layer of excitement to the experience. These special tours will be available on 14, 17-19, and 21 September 2024.
