Irish distillery Teeling is collaborating with well-known winery Reichsrat von Buhl to create a Rose Wine Cask finish expression of the Irish whiskey.

The whiskey was finished in rose wine casks from the winery to create an expression that exudes notes of strawberry, raspberry and cranberry, rounded off by citrus notes and an earthy minerality that is found in dry rose wines from the German winery. It is bottled at 46% ABV, with a total of 900 bottles produced, priced at EUR 49.

Fresh strawberries, raspberries, grape skins and pear.

Taste

Rhubarb crumble with cream embedded in bright citrus notes of grapefruit.

Finish

Light finish that lingers on the tongue.
