Balvenie Partners With Artist Daniel Arsham For 'The New Dawn of Our Spirit' Collection

The Balvenie has announced a new collaboration with contemporary artist Daniel Arsham for an upcoming limited edition single malt collection.
Titled The Dawn of Our Spirit, Arsham will work with The Balvenie Malt Master Kelsey McKechnie to explore the distillery's identity through its foundational Five Rare Crafts: home-grown barley, traditional malting floors, copper stills, on-site cooperage, and the intuitive expertise of the malt master.
The two are set to curate a series of immersive, sensorial experiences across Asia and the United States, with these activations strategically designed to spotlight the multi-generational artistry and heritage that anchor the brand.
The program will debut a hand-crafted whisky collection featuring an ultra-rare expression alongside collectible limited editions. Each bottle embodies the distillery's core Five Rare Crafts, reimagined through Arsham’s distinct artistic lens.
Rooted in themes of heritage and physical permanence, the partnership will also draw profound creative fuel from The Balvenie’s historic Home Floor Maltings.
The distillery has employed floor maltings almost continuously since 1931, serving as a living monument to unchanged, tactile craftsmanship in an increasingly automated world.
Further details of The Dawn of Our Spirit collaboration and the limited-edition collection will be revealed later this year.
