The Macallan A Night on Earth – The Finale will conclude the brand's "A Night on Earth" series, which has gone from Scotland to Jerez to New Zealand and now, to New Orleans.
The expression was matured in sherry-seasoned American and European oak casks and bottled at 43% ABV. It is said to offer nose notes of orange peel, cinnamon, clove and star anise, with a palate featuring nutmeg, creamy vanilla, almond praline, rich spice, dried fruit, cherries and sweet oak.
This latest release embodies the city’s rich musical heritage, diverse community, and festive spirit. The Scotch whisky offers a warm, optimistic expression designed to celebrate the anticipation of the year ahead.
The release continues The Macallan’s tradition of annual artistic collaborations celebrating end-of-year festivities. For this final installment, New Orleans-born artist Hill Spriggins drew from her own memories of New Year’s celebrations in the city, translating its vibrant rhythm, rich color, and community spirit into three bold, expressive artworks integrated across the multi-layered packaging.
To bring the artist's vision closer to life, the exterior features a tactile material designed to mimic authentic canvas.
