The Macallan Releases Sixth And Final Instalment Of Harmony Collection, Inspired By Fresh Coconut & Inspired By Toasted Coconut

The Macallan has launched the sixth and final installment of its The Harmony Collection, concluding the series with two distinctive single malt Scotch whiskies: Inspired by Fresh Coconut and Inspired by Toasted Coconut. 

Matured in a combination of ex-bourbon and sherry-seasoned American oak, the whisky relies on the wood's inherent character to draw out clear, elevated coconut notes without sacrificing overall balance.

The Macallan Harmony Collection Inspired by Fresh Coconut is bottled at 46.3% ABV and is a domestic release. It is said to have notes of:

• Nose: Fresh coconut, zesty lime, citrus notes of lemon and orange, tropical mango and papaya, layered with vanilla, almond, sweet oak, and a hint of nutmeg and cinnamon.
  
  
• Palate: Sweet lime, lemon and vanilla sponge with desiccated coconut, icing sugar, coconut milk, sweet oak with dried tropical fruits.
  
  
• Finish: Bursts of coconut and floral honey.
  

The Macallan Harmony Collection Inspired by Toasted Coconut is bottled at 43.3% ABV and is intended for travel retail. It is said to have notes of:

• Nose: Toasted coconut, crème caramel, white chocolate, vanilla bean, pink grapefruit, lemon zest, shea butter and subtle sweet cardamom.
  
  
• Palate: Coconut truffle, charred pineapple, lime marmalade, grapefruit, frangipane, meringue and toasted oak.
  
  
• Finish: Sweet tropical fruits and toasted oak.
  

As the final release in The Harmony Collection, this expression returns the series to its roots at The Macallan Estate. The release is paired with the TimeSpirit Dining Experience - a collaboration with El Celler de Can Roca featuring custom serves and sweet creations from pastry chef Jordi Roca.

TimeSpirit is El Celler de Can Roca’s first dining concept outside of Spain, building on a partnership spanning over a decade between the Roca Brothers and The Macallan.

A series of six bespoke cocktail serves have been created to complement the whiskies, each designed to highlight and interpret the coconut character in different ways.

Continuing the series' focus on material innovation, the two expressions come in packaging crafted from discarded coconut fibers using an emission-free process that results in its black hue.

The Inspired by Fresh Coconut and Inspired by Toasted Coconut will be available globally via The Macallan's website and The Macallan Estate Boutique from 4th August at an MSRP of SGD 236 and SGD 236 respectively.
