The Singleton Unveils New Travel Exclusive Whisky In Almost A Decade: Gardens of Abundance
The Singleton, one of Diageo’s beloved single malts, has announced a new travel retail exclusive series. The single malt brand draws upon spirit from three distilleries – Glen Ord, Glendullan, and Dufftown – which are united by The Singleton’s signature style.
The collection, aptly named 'Gardens of Abundance', is a nod to the seasons and various locale that features four single malts – all distilled at Glendullan Distillery.
First up, we have Radiant Spring Garden, matured in American White Oak casks. This one promises to showcase Glendullan's classic bright and fruity flavours.
Next, we have Golden Autumn Orchard, a “Double Oak” matured single malt, aged in both ex-bourbon and American White Oak casks. This one leans into the sweeter side of things.
Then there's Exotic Spice Grove, a “Triple Cask” matured Glendullan that's seen time in ex-wine, rejuvenated, and reserve oak casks.
As the name suggests, you may expect a richer and spicy dram. Finally, we have Deep Forest Riches, a “Quadruple Cask” matured whisky matured in European oak and finished in a combination of Palo Cortado, Marsala Wine, and Pedro Ximénez Oloroso seasoned casks. This one offers intense Sherry flavours.
This collection is The Singleton’s first travel retail exclusive series in close to a decade. Gardens of Abundance is currently available at Changi Airport in Singapore, and will be hitting the shelves in Delhi and Heathrow airports from August 2024. Keep an eye out in Hainan, Dubai, and Malaysia later in the year.
If you're passing through these ports, it might be worth your while to grab a bottle to see if the Gardens of Abundance lives up to its name!
