Barrell is one of the most popular craft spirits independent bottlers in the US, typically offering bourbon but also other spirits such as rum. They've become very well known for their unique cask finished bourbons and ryes, most notably the Seagrass expression which is a blend of American and Canadian rye whiskeys finished in Martinique rum casks.

Barrell has two new expressions in the works - their 10th Anniversary Blend and a A Tale of Two Islands rum cask aged bourbon blend.

Barrell 10th Anniversary Blend

"Ten years ago, we set out to source exceptional bourbon casks from established producers and blend and bottle them at cask strength. Our goal was to elevate barrels of whiskey into something greater than the sum of their parts.

We've personally tasted and blended hundreds of products and have experimented with thousands of blends. 10th Anniversary Bourbon is an homage to ten years of incredible blends and to our amazing supporters.

Some of our most noteworthy batches, including Batch 011 and Batch 021, are blended into this release.

Barrell Cask Finish Series: Tale Of Two Islands

"In 2018, we produced the legendary Tale of Two Islands Rums: a Jamaican Rum matured in peated Islay single malt barrels.

Those empty casks have been used to finish a blend of straight bourbons. The sweetness of the rum and the smokiness of the Islay casks mingle together with the underlying bourbon that continues the Tale of Two Islands.

Blended to never blend in."
