It appears Kanosuke, the rising star of Japan's new wave of craft whisky distillers, is going full steam ahead with three new single casks headed for the US.
Kanosuke Single Cask No. 18162 IPA Cask

Kanosuke Single Cask No. 19276
This Kanosuke single cask featuring origami cranes on the label, is bottled at 61% ABV (cask strength), with just 192 bottles produced, and has been aged for 4 years and 9 months, fully in an ex-Bourbon barrel.
Kanosuke Single Cask No. 18120
UPDATE: A third Kanosuke single cask has showed up, this is Cask #18120, bottled at 58% ABV, with an outturn of 216 bottles. This is aged for 5 years and 2 months, of which 37 months is in ex-Shochu casks, with a subsequent finishing of 25 months in ex-Bourbon barrels. Very intriguing considering most whiskymakers tend to go ex-Bourbon first - the Shochu will be strong with this one.
