WhistlePig is out with the ninth edition of their Boss Hog series, which always sports a very affable pig-based metal stopper.

Titled "Siren's Song", this will be an non-age statement American straight rye whiskey uniquely finished in Greek Fig Nectar and Scratch Tentura, a liqueur produced in the Greek city of Patras since the 15th century. The word "Tentura" comes from the Italian word tinctura or "tincture", and typically uses brandy as a base which is then sweetened and flavored using various herbs and spices. Commonly used herbs include cloves, nutmeg, cinnamon and citrus fruits, which gives the Tentura liqueur a distinctive dark orange-red color, and is commonly served as an digestif or as an addition to espresso.
