For the first time ever, the Wine & Spirit Education Trust (WSET) has released the full list of wines used in its Diploma tasting exams for its 2024/25 academic year.

The Diploma comprises six units, with three of them - the D3: Wines of the World, D4: Sparkling Wines, and D5: Fortified Wines - included in tasting exams.

The D3 exam covers the broadest area of learning and features the most extensive blind tasting with 24 wines having to be sampled.

WSET’s D4 and D5 units include nine wines each.

Across the past academic year, a total of 42 wines hailing from 12 countries featured in the WSET Level 4 Diploma in Wines blind tastings.
