Yamazaki Aged 25 Years & 18 Years In Mizunara, Hakushu 18 Year Old Peated Malt Kicks Off 2025
Doesn't Mizunara just get the people going? You bet it does! And that's why Suntory is giving the people what they want - an 18 Year Old and a 25 Year Old Mizunara aged Yamazaki! And toss in a Hakushu 18 Year Old Peated Malt whilst they're at it, because we know Hakushu is just so underrated, but the fanbase is no doubt growing.
Now, we've seen the Yamazaki 18 Years Old Mizunara Cask and the Hakushu 18 Year Old Peated Malt before, but that Yamazaki 25 Year Old Mizunara Cask proves to be the oldest fully Mizunara aged Yamazaki express so far - it certainly stirs the imagination as to what 25 years in a Mizunara Cask will do to the whisky, doesn't it?
The three expressions come in at 48% ABV (that's 96 Proof).
And here's what we've got so far, check it out.
