A really good pair of rums at The Auld Alliance from Corman Collins for their 55th Anniversary with a 1996 Diamond and a 1996 Caroni.

The bias in me just thought that the demerara was an absolute peach, and with that depth and thickness you’ll be hard pressed to realise that it only had a year of tropical aging in comparison to 25 years of continental aging.
