Notes - This 🍶 is a limited edition 🍶 where Aramasa launched it as a commemorative 90 years celebration of discovering the No.6 yeast. Brewed with Rikuu 132 🌾 grown in Akita and using a kimoto method in a premium cedar wooden barrel, this sake is smooth and delicate in the mouth with a complex texture. Aromatic ginjo notes of fresh fruits and finishing off with a yuzu aftertaste. There is also faint hints of cypress 🪵 fragrance.
This half drank bottle was courtesy of Mr Jack Lau from @nomidiningbar.sg during my dinner as he wanted to share his joy of this limited edition 🍶 with me. And it also came in a timely manner when the Ebi Senbei (🦐 cracker) Wasabi Cream Cheese was being served. The 🍶 goes very well with the silky smooth cream cheese by providing a hint of 🍋 to the creamy texture. It felt as if you are squeezing some 🍋 juice and mixing it together with the cheese and thus reducing the milky taste. Definitely worth to give it a try if you can get your hands on a bottle.
Overall, this is another excellent bottle from another one of my favorite brewery. Looking forward to tasting more Aramasa. 🎊 🎊 🎊
