Notes - This is the R-Type which stands for Regular and is the entry level of the Aramasa No.6 series. Brewed with the usual Aramasa No.6 kobo which gives the 🍶 its unique citrusy and medium acidity profile, this 🍶 has a slight tingling sensation as it enters the mouth and couple with a citrusy taste that resembles 🍊 and 🍋 but yet with a medium sweetness which makes it very refreshing. It also finishes off clean with a slight grapefruit tartness.

This 🍶 was enjoyed over omakase dinner @shunsui_official where we were entertained by the culinary skills of Head Chef Kazu Oyama san. Some of the dishes that paired really well with the citrusy profile of the 🍶 includes the sashimi, sushi, uni with seaweed and the charcoal seared 🐟. I always like fresh seafood to pair with something citrusy like how one would squeeze 🍋 juice on fresh 🦪. It just elevates the freshness and also at the same time removes any fishy taste if any. This 🍶 is also super easy to drink on its own with an alcohol of 13% which is generally on the low end for 🍶.

As my saying goes, everyday is an Aramasa day. 🥂 🥂 🥂
