Notes - It has been awhile since my last bottle of Aramasa Colors. Decided to order the last bottle during dinner at Michelin Star restaurant @ukaiteikaohsiung. Light and dedicate on the tongue with complex structure. Refreshing notes of citrus fragrance with a slight fizzy sourness that is good for awakening the palate. Lots of depth and body.

The 🍶 was paired with the fabulous teppanyaki dishes helmed and prepared for us by the executive chef of Ukai-Tei, Mr Tanabe Yuki san. Watching his cooking performance while sipping on the 🍶 was truly an amazing experience for me. Dishes that paired really well was the appetizers consisting of kani with kombu jelly, seared beef tongue, shirako chawanmushi and freshly sliced white truffle 🍄 soup. As the dishes are heavier in taste, it is always a good choice to pair with a 🍶 that is lighter in taste in order not to overpower the taste of the dishes. Also the 🍶 has a slight fizzy sourness to it due to the production method, it helps to open up the appetite and palate for heavier dishes to come. I am always amazed by Aramasa sakes and how easy it is when it comes to food pairing.

Overall, this is an excellent sake. 🍾 🎊 🎉
