Notes - The name 黒縄 or 'Black Rope' comes from ancient times when the best quality Japanese 🌾 are tied up using black ropes. This is an extremely rare 🍶 and ranks up there with another Juyondai label “白雲去来”. Being a Namazume (meaning pasteurized once before storing), temperature control is necessary and best to finish quickly once the bottle is opened. Elegantly balanced and delicate on the tongue. Super refined, smooth and pleasant in the mouth with amazing ginjo zukuri aroma of different fruits. Low acidity with a slightly sourish 1st mouth and turning into a semi sweet finish.

Dinner was Chef Omakase @sushiyuki.sg and this 🍶 was highly recommended by our friend @jack.hjlau. The 🍶 paired amazingly with most of the dishes which consists of traditional 🍣, freshly sliced sashimi, fresh uni in the shell, grilled snow 🦀 legs etc. It goes really well especially with seafood and sashimi by adding an additional layer of subtle sweetness and richness to the already naturally sweet seafood making their flavor more robust and bursting. For such a delicate 🍶, it definitely needs to be enjoy chilled around 5-8C to get the most aromatic experience out of it.

A superb recommendation and a splendid bottle to end the night with. 💥 💥 💥 💥
