Overall - No. 2 out of 5 bottles curated by Orihara Shoten. Brewed with a new type of sake rice “Hirokei Sake No. 33” developed by the Agricultural Technology Center of Hiroshima Prefectural Institute of Technology, the aroma is full of steam 🍚 and pint nuts with some hints of 🍌. The medium umami balances the medium taste and body of the sake. Coupled with a medium length, this sake is good as a 2nd bottle of sake for the night when I am into the main courses of my dinner. The main courses of the night consists of Chinese dishes from one of my favorite restaurant, 莆田. The main courses are deep fried mackerel fish, 3 eggs vegetable, sweet sour pork with lychee, all of which are strong in flavor. The sake made a good combination with the dishes and it enhances the flavor of the food. Easy to drink enough while eating without feeling too overwhelming.
Overall, this is a good sake.
