Sake Reviews

Koshiji No Koume Junmai Ginjo

This is a limited edition bottling for spring. “うすべに” which is pasted on it literally translates to “light pink”. I’m guessing it’s named after the bottle’s subtle pink hues. After researching more on Kubiki Shuzo I realized it’s one of the first sake breweries I visited in Niigata! That was when I first fell in love with sake and brought home 10 bottles.

Taste wise, it is refreshing & light. Sweet with a small hint of sourness, almost like strawberries. Had this at @alsolito2017 where they feature a lot of Niigata sake.

Brewery: Kubiki Shuzo
Origin: Niigata
Polishing Ratio: 60%
Rice: Gohyakumangoku
