Notes - Miyasaka Jozo has been producing 🍶 for more than 360 years and they are always seeking new paths to 🍶 future. Their mission has always been to provide high quality 🍶 that brings people and their food together. They also brew in ways that appreciate and protect the natural blessings of Nagano’s alpine environment. For those who are not aware, Kyokai Kobo No. 7 was discovered at Miyasaka Jozo in 1946 and soon became the favorite of brewers across the nation and even today remains the most widely used Kobo in the world.

Masumi Shiro is part of the 4 color flagship 🍶 and each have their own unique flavor profiles based on new variations of their famous No.7 kobo. Having the lowest alcohol % in the color series, Masumi Shiro is clean and simple in the mouth without much ginjo aroma which I would have imagine. Light and slightly orangey sweetness as if drinking on a very diluted 🍊 squash drink. Very easy to go down the throat with a grapefruit bitterness and leaving behind a subtle dryness that sticks to the lips easily. The color series is a series of 🍶 that was introduced by Masumi for daily drinking.

As the profile is rather light and refreshing, it is easy to pair with most light flavored food especially salads and sashimi which is typical of daily 🇯🇵 cuisine. A lovely bottle and very versatile for daily drinking. Am looking forward to trying their other 🍶 from the color series.
