純米酒 うさぎラベル
I was quite lucky to get my hands on this bottle from Tottori, the least populated prefecture in all of Japan.
This sake was aged for 2 years. We drank it at room temperature - umami, rich, loads of mushrooms. It was elegant despite being rustic. The label portrays this balance beautifully - the white hare is illustrated with flowers and mushrooms.
My only regret was we did not heat it up because Suwa Shuzo has won multiple awards for kansake. If I get a chance to try this bottle again I would definitely have it hot.
