Notes - This is a seasonal 🍶 that is brewed with 💯 Mie Prefecture produced Kaminoho 🌾polished to 55%. It is well balanced and rounded in the mouth with aromatic ginjo notes of ripe fruits and 🍯. Medium acidity can be felt at the back of the throat and finishing off with a slightly grapefruit aftertaste.

Food pairing was with home cooked 🍢 which goes really well with the multiple and complex layers of the 🍶. Being full and robust also helps to compliment the umaminess from the bonito soup stock and making it sweeter. Another thing that I love about pairing 🍢 with 🍶 is that you can do a mizu wari with the bonito stock by adding 1 part 🍶 to 2 parts of bonito stock in a cup and drinking it. Really warms your body up during a cold night and also helps to make you sober if you are feeling drunk. It is always my go to 解酒液.

Overall, this is another excellent 🍶 from Zaku which uses locally produced 🌾 from Mie. Am hoping to try more Zaku 🍶 after my session with both the owners of Shimizu Seizaburo Shoten back in Dec 22. Truly an amazing experience. 📣📣📣
