"Ahma's Sesame Old Fashioned?" Binary Celebrates National Day With August-Special Cocktails
To mark Singapore's upcoming National Day celebration, Binary will be rolling out three limited edition cocktails that represent inventive, localised twists on bar classics. Infused with flavours emblematic of Singapore's diversity, these reimagined mixology staples reflect Binary's flair for craft of the best from East and West, and their synergistic blends of the two. These cocktails will be available from 1st to 31st August, all day for dine-in at $9.80++ per glass — numbered for Singapore’s birthday.
The limited-edition cocktails include:
- Ah Ma’s Sesame Ginger Old Fashioned is concocted in the image of a traditional Chinese delight - sesame oil chicken. Sesame oil-washed bourbon plays the part of the customary whiskey while housemade ginger syrup sweetens with a spicy, warming kick.
- Paying homage to Malay roots is the Assam Pedas-tini, a vodka martini augmented with a harmony of heritage flavours. A mix of vodka, sambal tumis, assam juice and pineapple juice is topped off with a scoop of achar.
- Masala Meets Collin marries the classic Tom Collins with a vignette of Indian cuisine. The refreshing fizz of gin and soda is mixed with a touch of garam powder, calamansi, and pineapple juice. A homemade cinnamon sugar syrup completes the ambrosial mix alongside a garnish of whole cinnamon stick.
This National Day, raise a glass to the multicultural smorgasbord of our cherished food heritage and indulge in creations that celebrate the vibrance of our home. Reservations can be made directly with Binary via WhatsApp at +65 9363 0101 or on Chope!
