Here's something exciting on the horizon that you won't want to miss – a unique whisky and rum tasting event featuring Malt, Grain & Cane and a renowned celebrity photographer hosted at The Swan Song Singapore. 

The star of the show is Hollywood photographer Russel Wong, one of the most celebrated international photographers from Singapore to date. Russel's illustrious career has seen him capturing Hollywood legends such as Robert Downey Jr, Tom Cruise, Bruce Willis, Richard Gere and Anthony Bourdain. With an impressive 16 TIME covers to his name, his work speaks volumes of his talent and acclaim.

Russel has teamed up with Malt, Grain & Cane (MGC), a rising star in the Singapore independent bottling scene. Together, they've launched the KyoMurasaki series, a special collection of collectible whiskies and rums that come adorned with several of Russel's captivating images captured in Japan on their royal purple labels.

The tasting event will feature all 3 bottlings from this exclusive series – a Fettercairn single malt, a Staoisha single malt (from Bunnahabhain Distillery), and a Mount Gay Barbados rum – each served in 15 ml servings in a guided tasting conducted by bar owner Arun from The Swan Song Singapore - one of the most popular specialty whisky bars on the island. 

What's more, Russel himself will be present at the tasting to share the stories and artistic process behind the photographs that grace these bottles. For fans of Russel’s work, there's a treat – signed copies of his exclusive book will be available for purchase.
