That Wine Place & Godmama Present Peranakan Flavours Paired With Wines: 30 March 2025 in Singapore

That Wine Place is a popular wine bar in the heart of Holland Village which offers an extensive selection of wines from both the New and Old World, with many unique and rare labels ranging from Super Tuscans to cult American wine estates.
On the 30th of March, it is set to host a Peranakan cuisine wine pairing in partnership with modern Peranakan restaurant, Godmama.
A collaboration by Chef Frederick and Chef Nick from Godmama and That Wine Place respectively, A Culinary Heritage aims to showcase the former's deep Peranakan roots alongside the latter's expertise in classic French techniques.
The result? A thoughtfully curated multi-course menu that reinterprets heritage flavours in a contemporary style, paired with a selection of five Old World wines to elevate the experience!
Chef Fredric Goh's culinary journey began in his grandmother's kitchen, where he learned the art of traditional cooking. Though trained in Western cuisine and refined under Italian Chef Mario Caramella at Forlino, Fredric's heart led him back to his heritage, culminating in his role as head chef at Godmama.
On the other hand, Chef Nick Wee innovates at That Wine Place by merging Modern European cuisine with his Sarawakian heritage, featuring local, sustainable ingredients and minimising food waste.

Wine Pairing: The select menus will only be available on 30th March 2025 at That Wine Place, 261 Holland Ave, Singapore 278986. Lunch will be served from 11:30 am to 3:00 pm, while dinner will take place from 5:30 pm to 10:00 pm.
