Plume Pan Pacific Unveils 9 Wine Flights & 50 Labels From Across The World: Singapore, 2024

 

 

Plume, the recent addition to Pan Pacific Singapore's vibrant dining scene, is excited to announce the launch of its new wine menu, "The Vine Migration." Opened last year, Plume has quickly become a celebrated cocktail bar, known for its dedication to the spirit of Singapore and a nod to the country's exotic tropical birds through its themed cocktails.

Today, Plume officially launches The Vine Migration which takes wine enthusiasts on a journey across the globe with the introduction of nine meticulously curated wine flights. Priced from S$49, these flights are designed to cater to both the adventurous and the curious, offering a unique and accessible way to experience a variety of wines by the glass in Plume's lush and intimate setting.

 

The new wine menu was developed under the guidance of Beverage Manager Matthew Chan, certified Sommelier at the Court of Master Sommeliers and by the Sake Sommelier Academy.

 

The menu features selections from some of the world's most renowned wineries, including legends like Leroy, Ornellaia, and Gaja. Each of the nine flights tells a distinct story, inviting patrons to explore the rich diversity of wine from both old and new world producers. 

Highlights include a flight where one can taste the influence of warmer climates through wines from Portugal, Spain, and South Africa, a Pinot Noir focused flight, and a celebratipon of Port and Madeira wines from Cristiano Ronaldo's homeland, Portugal.

Albariño, Alvarinho & Alvarinha ($49)

Journey through warmer climates with a selection that celebrates the Albariño grape from Portugal, Spain, and South Africa – a grape varietal that has recently become one of the most fashionable.

New Bar Bites Menu

 

Besides The Vine Migration, Plume's kitchen has seen fit to unveil a new bar bites menu for the peckish. Dishes include Poultry Parfait ($28), handcrafted chicken liver parfait served alongside toasted sourdough, onion jam, and cornichons; Mapo Dip & Chips ($32), an Asian rendition of the addictive snack of Tortilla chips and Mapo tofu; the moreish Eggs & Fish ($35) where poached eggs and caviar taramasalata are served with sourdough fingers for the perfect dip; and a sweet dessert to end the evening, Cacao Cigar ($15).

Other items include the Perched Together ($18), where fragrant Chicken Rendang Croquettes nestled on Crispy Leek are presented in a unique birdcage; and Birds of Prey (S: $22, L $42), a selection of home-made charcuterie specialties and condiments made for sharing, served on a platter.
