Renowned French Liqueur Maker Maison Génestine Debuts in Singapore With Retailer Coq & Malai
A touch of French liqueur craftsmanship is about to hit the Asian spirits scene thanks to a new partnership between lifestyle retailer Coq & Malai and the esteemed liqueur maker Maison Génestine.
Founded in 1845 and revived by passionate spirits enthusiasts in 2021, Maison Génestine is renowned for its dedication to French distillation heritage, and particularly for its gentian-based aperitifs that showcase the unique flavors of this bitter root often found in the Auvergne region of France. The old brand has a history celebrated in iconic 19th century French publications like "Le Monde Illustré" and has been recognised for its craftsmanship for over a century.
The secret to Maison Génestine's success lies in their commitment to using all-natural ingredients and traditional distilling methods, while still incorporating exciting new flavor combinations. Every liqueur in their collection, from the bright citrus of their Limoncello to the complex blend of 80 botanicals in their 1845 Élixir V.P., is a testament to their dedication to quality and innovation. Their reputation for excellence is further solidified by their numerous awards at the World Drink Awards.
And now, for the first time, Singapore gets a taste of this French artistry! Maison Génestine would be debuting its full collection in Singapore with home accessories and lifestyle retailer Coq & Malai. This unveiling introduces seven masterfully crafted French artisanal liqueurs to the Singpaorean market for the first time:
