Sake Matsuri is holding its November edition of 2023 from the 3rd to 5th November, at the Outdoor Plaza @ Paya Lebar Quarter, Singapore.
The event is Singapore’s largest independent craft sake festival, with the aim to raise awareness and appreciation for sakes and Japanese spirits, and is organised by sake lovers for sake lovers.
The festival is split into two sessions: the 3rd November session will feature Sake Matsuri’s first Sake Bar, where festival goers can taste exclusive sake at $5 a glass. The next two days, 4th and 5th November, are free-flow sake days.
Here’s the event breakdown in detail.
3rd November
The first day of Sake Matsuri November 2023 features the new BIG Sake Bar, where festival goes can sample sakes at $5 per glass. Close to 100 labels of sake are featured on this day, some which are only available for tasting on this day.

In order to participate on this day, you have to purchase a Sake Passport, which entitles you to:
- 10 free sake pours
- A chance to win a guided sake brewery tour to Tokyo and Takayama from 17th to 24th April, which includes:
- Visiting the Konohanano and Funasaka Brewery
- Brewing your own sake that will be delivered back to you in Singapore
- Creating your own sake cups at Shibukusa Pottery
- Dining on Hida beef and Takayama Ramen
The tour is organised by The Kabuki Works and is subject to change.

4th and 5th November
The next two days feature a free-flow sake tasting in three 3-hour sessions across the day. Over 200 sakes and Japanese spirits will be available for tasting in this event, including some sakes that were featured on World Sake Day (1st October).
Your ticket will entitle you to:
- 3 hour free-flow tasting session
- Free Sake Matsuri wine glass from Riedel
- Sake bottles at festival prices
The three sessions will be from 10am to 1pm, 2pm to 5pm, and 6pm to 9pm for both days.
