In celebration of World Cucumber Day, Hendrick’s Gin will be bringing back its Cucumber Currency Exchange
From June 10th to 13th, over 60 bars in Singapore including Tipsy Tavern, Stay Gold Flamingo and LECOQ will pay homage to the curious green fruit, that forms a key botanical in Hendrick's Gin. Simply rock up to one of these partner bars with a cucumber during the ‘Cucumber Hours’ of 5.30pm to midnight, and trade it for one of the unusual gin maker’s most refreshing serves – Hendrick’s & Tonic, while stocks last.
Revellers can choose between the original Hendrick’s Gin and the limited-release Hendrick’s Flora Adora or Hendrick’s Neptunia as the base of their libations.

If you’re in need of a cucumber, keep your eyes peeled for Hendrick's impeccably dressed team of cucumber connoisseurs, who will be roaming Singapore’s bar districts such as Raffles Green, Downtown Marina and Tanjong Pagar from 11am to 1pm on the same days to bestow cucumbers upon passerbys.
Charmaine Thio, Southeast Asia Brand Ambassador for Hendrick’s Gin, said, “For Hendrick’s Gin, the humble cucumber has always been the quintessential muse for our whimsical, refreshing libations. In its honour, we’re bringing the Cucumber Currency Exchange back to Singapore after four years to serve as a delightful escape from the ordinary humdrum of our daily lives. I can’t wait to see Singaporeans embrace the oddity of life with unbridled curiosity, and surrender to joy beyond measure upon this refreshing encounter.”
Only Hendrick’s Gin is made with infusions of cucumber and rose petals, alongside a blend of 11 botanicals – making it a refreshing gin that will grant you respite from the unrelenting heat this summer.
If you’re feeling adventurous, opt for Hendrick’s Flora Adora as the base of your cocktail of choice. The newest limited-edition release from Hendrick’s Cabinet of Curiosities blooms with an enticing aroma of enchanting flowers, taking the brand’s signature house style into a fresh and irresistibly floral dimension.

Another limited release added to the Cabinet of Curiosities in 2022, Hendrick’s Neptunia is inspired by the Magic of the Sea and unmistakably Hendrick’s, awash in roses and cucumber, with added depth and flavour from its mysterious blend of Scottish coastal botanicals.
In the spirit of inclusivity, all species of cucumbers will be accepted for the exchange. For more information on Hendrick’s Cucumber Currency Exchange, visit http://refreshinglycurious.
