The Single Cask & Yellow Ribbon Fund Join Forces for a One-Day Charity Party With Cocktails, DJs, Tattoos & Merch: 29 June 2025
Warm, community-favourite whisky and cocktail bar The Single Cask is leaning into something meaningful come Sunday 29th June with a one-day-only charity takeover dubbed Goodest Vibes Sunday. This is a collaborative event with the Yellow Ribbon Project–a Singapore-based national initiative that supports second chances for ex-offenders as they reintegrate into society. It’s the kind of cause that fits the bar’s ethos: people-focused, quietly rebellious, and all heart.
The bar and kitchen will be taken over for a full day (and night) of music, food, drink and art, all in support of the Yellow Ribbon Fund. Every dollar of profit from the special food and drink menu will go directly to charity. That includes vegetarian, seafood and meat dishes, so no matter your diet (or moral flexibility when it comes to food), there’ll be something to dig into.
Behind the bar, Wei De and Japheth–who regulars will recognise as cocktail whisperers and mischief-makers–are mixing up a menu of event-exclusive cocktails. The bar would also be stocked with drinks and spirits from local favourites Lion City Meadery and Singapore Distillery.
But Goodest Vibes Sunday isn’t just about food and drink. The space will also be playing host to tattoo artist Denise (@theniece_ink) if you fancy walking away with something a little more permanent. Graffiti artist @gitnusa, whose vibrant work you might’ve already spotted on the event’s posters, will also be showcasing limited-edition tees and live art throughout the day.
The soundtrack to your Sunday will start mellow with Therapy Room from 2pm to 5pm, by DJs Deepak Prashad and Shaun Nocturnals, before Joshen and Rob Z take over from 5pm till late, pushing the energy from laid-back grooves to party-ready beats.
Merchandise from The Single Cask will also be up for grabs during the event, so if you’ve ever wanted a bottle or tee that reminds you of your favourite whisky den, this might be the time to pick one up and do some good while you’re at it.
So rock up, grab a cocktail, catch a set, and know you’re helping someone else start fresh. Whether you’re there for the music, the malt, mezcal, mead, or maybe even a tiny tattoo, Goodest Vibes Sunday is shaping up to be a great way to spend your last weekend of June. And hey, when was the last time you could say your night of drinking has helped a good cause?
Kanpai!
