Tokyo Confidential Serves Up Christmas Nostalgia With New Woodford Reserve Cocktails
Tokyo Confidential is ready to serve up some Christmas Nostalgia all through December, with four new Christmas themed cocktails made in partnership with Woodford Reserve Bourbon. This marks the inagural "Christmas Confidential" pop up at the Azabujuban rooftop cocktail bar, which will be held from now til December 30.
Founder Holly Graham and Head Bartender Wakana Murata have created four cocktails for the occasion, putting a Tokyo Confidential spin on nostalgic Christmas flavors (¥2000 each).
Pandon Nog (¥2000)
Available hot or cold, the Pandan Nog adds an Asian twist to the indulgent classic with Woodford Reserve Bourbon, Diplomatico Mantuano, pandan, amazake, egg and Christmas spices, while the Gingerbread Old Fashioned infuses a hint of seasonal spices with Woodford Reserve Bourbon, gingerbread syrup and bitters.
Kentucky Coffee (¥2000)
Warm up with the Kentucky Coffee with Woodford Reserve Bourbon, Okinawa brown sugar, coffee and chilled cream, or the hot Vino Navidad with red wine, Brandy and mulling spices.
Adding to the bar’s already stunning views of Tokyo Tower, Christmas Confidential brings the cozy holiday vibes with mini fireplaces, heated blankets and Christmas décor.
In addition to the drinks, Christmas Confidential pays homage to Japan’s festive tradition of fried chicken for Christmas by serving up comfort dish TCFC (¥2000) - fried chicken with ranch dip and house pickles created by two Michelin-starred Chef Daniel Calvert. For the ultimate high-brow, low-brow pairing, opt to add a bottle of Champagne and caviar bump (¥15,000).
As usual, Christmas Confidential is no reservations, so pull up and get ready to ring in the season Tokyo Confidential style. A minimum spend of ¥6,000 per person applies.
