Nose: light vanilla, parsely and other light herbs, young celery, a little floral.

Palate: fresh, cooling, dry, initial palate light caramel, sweet, mid palate has honey with scented herbs, hints of tropical fruits in particular lychee, longan, passionfruit, dragonfruit, kiwi without the sour aspects, back palate is where it all comes together with a cognac jelly type flavor, lychee but not overly sweet.

Finish: medium, similar to finishing lychee cognac jelly.

Wow what an amazing dram! Its fruity, but saddles in between standard fruit and subtropical, more exotic fruits on the nose, palate, and finish. That herbal aspect is extremely fresh and is a distraction in the beginning, but fades away to reveal the more lychee flavors.

Grade: B+
