I’m a sucker for Bimber and needed a re-up of some bottles so the latest release came at a great time. The latest batch is from their oldest first fill American oak bourbon casks.
On the nose its quite syrupy with notes of apple and dried fruit. On the palate the fruit follows and again can taste dried fruits along with apricots and a bit of spice, a lovely long finish at the end.
One of my favourite distilleries in England and can’t wait for the older expressions to come.
