Nose: initially cherries, mints, light peat. Then a hint of black peppers appears, more vegetative.
Palate: sour, bitter wood, slight flavors of young tofu, doesn't seem to offer much, simple stuff. Some peat on the mid and back palate after a few sips. More sips bring out the peat aspect.
Finish: moderate, light peat, a light bitter aftertaste, a slight prickly sensation.
One of the better independent versions of Bunnahabhain I've had. The tasting notes on the label are totally opposite of what I'm tasting here. Interestingly, shop related online tasting reviews also show tasting notes that aren't what is described on the OMC label. If OMC can't bring out a flavorful Bunnah, I'm not sure who can... so far, not my type of juice. Had this at Bar Marilyn, Seoul, South Korea.
