This is from one of the more recent independent bottlers, the Creative Whisky Company, who release three product lines, Exclusive Malts, Exclusive Casks, and Exclusive Range.
Nose: strong vanilla, slight sherry.
Palate: sweet, light honey, some hints of rum.
Finish: short, vanilla, rum and molasses notes.
This is really good! A good amount of vanilla like flavors and sweetness, mellow on the finish. From the Cambus juices I've tried, the younger, under 20 years are strange amd bad, but they seem to get better after 25 years. I'm a grain guy though so it's obviously biased... Had this at The Vault at Miro, Los Angeles, USA.
