Club Qing is considered one of the top whisky bars in Hong Kong. Located in the expat district of LKF, it is a bit hard to find, but once you get there you'll be able to see several rare and famous bottles, as well as the infamous Ichiro's Malt Card Series lining the walls.

Nose: smoked wood, after time there is a strong graham/rice cracker aroma, also some chocolate crackers in there.

Palate: dry, spicey, initial palate is sweet, salty, tires, converts to a mid palate of honey combs, bittersweetness, wood here and there, back palate is peaty, honey, more dry. Good balance amongst honey and peat.

Finish: medium, sweet honey and peat smoke.

Another excellent one from Caol Ila. Seems like their younger single cask/selected bottlings have an extremely balanced honey and peat combination. Super lovely.

Grade: B+
