Nose: a thick purple fruit based syrup, great body, its like a mash of fruits that got boiled and put in a balloon that you have to put your nose in while everyobe beats you up.
Palate: initial, mid, and back palate was like chocolate or honey based candy. Really strong stuff that is distracting me from all the other flavor offerings for some reason.
Finish: short to medium, chocolate or honey based candy.
Damn this one was intense. Even after the last few drams (all with high abv), this was still intense. Couldn't really tell where the cognac cask influence came from especially when I compare to Ichiro's Malt Cards. Sooo different and tooo intense... but not in flavor, only in effect. Don't know what to think of this one actually. Why am I so amateurish?! Need to develop my senses!
