.
Nose: Fresh orange flesh emerge as soon as you poured out from the bottle, black tea, old furniture, scent of library, cloves, cinnamons and cardamons. Water brings out chocolates, leathery, oaky, some hints of brown sugar and whiffs of salt. (89/100)
.
Palate: Delightful light on arrival. Fruit cakes, raisins, sultanas, prunes, dates, mangoes, ripe apples and caramel. With water: More intense dark fruits, chocolates, toffees, caramelised apples. (88/100)
.
Finish: Lingering long. Warming, classic Clynelish waxiness, lasting oranges, cinnamon, lingering raisins, dates and walnuts. (89/100)
.
Overall: This is an excellent Clynelish, simply enjoyable. The freshness remains stunning and touches of salt as is familiar. (89/100)
