Nose: honey, young green grapes on a slow nose. Sharpness in the nostril, slight alcohol burn?
Palate: light watered down honey, faint asphaltic tar, bitter tobacco, spice in the aromas in the mouth, some wood comes last. Toffee comes out much later; I guess letting it air out brings out all the sweet flavors.
Finish: short, wood and some tobacco. After a few sips, kitchen spices come out.
Smells like it would be sweet, but its not. Mostly earthy flavors in palate and finish, nothing really stands out. Some aspects stand out like the hint of green grapes, but some seem to run to the back seat like the faint honey taste on the tongue. Not my style.
