Fukano Distillery Whisky, Distilled from Rice, 42.8% abv.
So.... this distillery basically uses 100% rice in their mashbill and stainless steel pot stills to produce this rice based whisky. I'll be honest, this stuff is not new in Asia, but apparently quite the controversy in the Old World, the Union, the Confederacy, and the Wild West. I recommend everyone look at @whiskyanorach 's feed to see an example, better than GOT.
Nose: burnt tire, light paint thinner, salty ramen seasoning, quite sour and salty.
Palate: a little tasteless and hints of rubbing alcohol initially, back palate has a sense of sweet whisky but it disappears very quickly.
Finish: short, nothing going on.
Pretty weird. As expected, it doesn't taste like traditional malt or grain... it's actually a little tasteless. More scented than anything. Not my style.
