Gentleman's Dunhill Speyside Blend, 43% abv.

Gentleman's Dunhill Speyside Blend, 43% abv.

Supposedly back the 70's or 80's, Dunhill tried their hand in the whisky market with a couple of blends in the iconic squat, dumpy bottle.
Nose: honey, purple grapes, and red apples.
Palate: like water, slight oak. A few drops of water make the wood more apparent, but it's not strong.
Finish: short, not much going on.
Dry glass: water.

Never heard of this bottle before. I think since I just had a relatively strong single sherry cask, the original flavors to this speyside blend were probably muted out. There is an obvious scotch flavor to it, just not a lot going on. Had this at @woo_company.

Grade: F (biased)
