From Batch 14... more GlenDronach single cask fun.

Nose: sherry notes (not too strong), whisps of honey, dried red fruits, overall very mellow.

Palate: a little dry, oaky, light on the spice, seems like the body of flavors has expired.

Finish: short, nothing going on. Becomes more dry with each sip.

Dry glass: wood, wax, and processed dried fruits.

Wow, this was the most mellow Glendronach single cask I have ever tasted, very disappointing. The oak and wood aspects seemed to dominate as I couldn't feel any sweet or fruity notes I was expecting. Disappointing... and I was hoping it would give me something interesting after a long day. Little did i know, this was a sign of things to come... I really don't know how to pick bottles. Had this at Wonga Bar (원가바), Seoul, South Korea. It's a nice bar with a pretty good selection.

Grade: C
