Heaven Hill Kentucky Straight Bourbon Whiskey

I know it’s possible to endlessly re-litigate the merits and prices of the legendary HH 6 Year BiB versus its descendant here, and I know because I’ve frequently entertained that question. But as far as a bulletproof, faultlessly reliable daily drinker goes, I’ve loved this bottle. Sadly NC ABC doesn’t carry this one, so it’s but a meteor briefly streaking across my bar cabinet’s sky without a chance of ready replacement.

What’s your opinions on this bottle? And is it something usually, rarely, or never in your local area?
