Just In 👉 Four Roses Showcases Four of Ten Unique Whiskey R...

Whisky Reviews

Longmorn 35 Year Old, 1975-2010, The Whisky Agency, Still Lifes II, Ex-bourbon hogshead, 107 bottles, 52.5% abv.

A famous bottling from the whisky agency. Had this in 2019.

Nose: syrup on top of fresh fruits, light stone fruit skins, could seriously predict a sugar madness coming.

Palate: medium body, slightly viscous, initial palate is white sugar, mid palate is essentially a spiced syrup, abv is hitting, stone fruits also showing up, back palate has a hint of smoke, seems like there might be chlorine?

Finish: medium, like eating a fruit cocktail, light bitterness too.

Wow this is almost a replica of the DT 33yo version, but obviously with more oomph/spiciness. Again, it's a focus on syrup, does introduce some heat, and an interesting chemical on the back palate. Would pick this over the DT 33yo, but it's the same story.
