Macallan Edition 2, 229,000 bottles:
Nose: strong spicy, slight honey.
Palate: intense, spicy, spice coats the tongue and mouth, slightly oily, chocolate orange, that unique classic macallan flavor that i could never pinpoint, but not as strong as the aged ones , i.e. 18+yo.
Finish: moderate low level spice, abv bitterness is long though.
Flavor impact was more than I expected, delightfully delicious, slightly complex. I should never underestimate macallan again. I've had the whole fine oak and sherry oak lineup and to me.
