As the newest minted Makers Mark Ambassador, I have just been informed I am being assigned as Ambassador to Asgard. My assignment is to negotiate timber rights to Yggdrasil — on the Zoom call Mr. Samuels was very adamant about how the World Tree is “probably oak” and how “we can finally charge Good Times prices” if Makers can unveil Yggdrasil Stave Finished Makers Mark. Mr. Samuels even speculated if Whiskey Advocate would finally award Makers a prize if the bourbon was flavored with the literal roots and bowers of creation.

Rob Samuels also said that @youwouldhateit is going to get 5% of the gross though, because he came up with the idea in his Best Of annual list last December. As it should be.
